Curl Essence Prince of Kurlz "Prince"
Black Solid with a little blue still showing that will eventually fade.
Already neutered and ready to go to his new home.
Prince is an absolute lover. ... even more than many of our cats. Prince is a 'people
cat'. He absolutely REQUIRES personal one-on-one attention from his peeps. He's a very touchy-feely cat.
He needs to be with the peeps like we need air to breath. He's not needy... just extremely affectionate. If you
won't have time to spend with him, he's not your boy. We do have cats that are more self-sufficient.. but that's not
Prince. If you want a cat that will dote on you and hang with you alot... this is your guy.
|

All the pictures of Prince except the one to the left with him snuggling with his mom were
taken on Friday 4/4. Price and Dice are from different litters but both were born the last week of Sept.

I really tried to get some decent face shots, but his face just dissappears in the pictures and all that
you see are his eyes. That's really just the camera.
Prince has incredibly soft fur. All our Curls have silky soft fur, but some are
in a class by themselves. It's hard to describe, but it's easy to feel. Torti has that and she has passed it to
this little guy.

Prince was outside enjoying the weather on the tall condo. I moved him in the lower picture onto a different condo
to show his body more. Prince has this really pretty blue undercoat around his neck that surrounds his face. The
rest of his body is a sleek black.

Prince is a total player. Well, he vasilates between 'total player', Dice's best bud, and a snuggle
bunny.
He's like 'all whatever he's doing'. He always gets me to chuckle when Mike gets out the laser light.
You almost have to see it in action to get the full effect of how cute he is. He stretches out his front legs and paws
at the light in super-seeed... he's zap! zap! zap! back and forth with each leg. He doesn't chase the light with
his paws... his whole legs and body are into it. It's way cute!

Prince is out of GC Curl Essence Cinnamon and CH Curl Essence Moonlit Torti Curl.
Prince is going to have really long soft, soft fur. He should loose that shimmer of a light undercoat,
but maybe not. He's a total player... he and Dice get into it all the time. They are nearly the same size.
They are the same weight, but slightly different body structures. Dice has longer legs. But Prince is the love
bunny. He's the snuggler. You will find him right next to one of us (usually Mike) at night. He curls right
up next to Mike's side and that's where he spends the night. If he gets stuck in the cattery when we go to bed, it won't
be long before he's crying at the door to be let out so he can come sleep with the peeps. He likes to go in the cattery
and play with the older boys, but he has to sleep with the peeps.
The 3 pictures below and to the right were taken 5/4/08. I saved them as gifs and they are a little
pixilated. I'll try fixing them for clarity later today.

So this is what life is like at our house. We find our cats doing the most interesting
things. This time, Prince decided to make a game of crawling into an empty water bottle box. We drink alot of
bottled water. We keep the cases by the front door so they are easy to grab on the way out of the house. Well
this box was empty but still had the plastic shrink-wrap on it. Prince decided it would make a great new place to play.

Hershey could not be shown in Champion class or Premier class because he broke his tail as a newborn
in his cage. If you know what to look for, you can almost see the break in the very tip. The underside of his
tail is blue. He is out of Julie and Erskin.

Hershey loves EVERYONE! He's sooo sooo affectionate that he's purring as soon as you pick him up.
Whenever we go out to clean the boys' cages, he immediately starts pawing thru the cage to make contact with us.
We sometimes put him outside with either Dessy or Shermie to play. They are a kick to watch.
He would be fine with no other pets as long as he gets plenty of attention from his peeps, or he could just as easily fit
into a family with kids and other pets.

Hershey is a gorgeous boy. We were going to keep him to breed but decided he just needs to be with
his peeps to much to be kept confined. Our studs are not allowed to run loose because of potential accidental breedings...
also, they can get territorial once they have started to feel their oats.
Hershey is one of those guys that will think he's a kitten when he's an old man. He loves to play
and really misses the one on one with the peeps. It's not fair to him to keep him as a stud. He will make a wonderful
companion to just about anyone.

Curl Essence Tiumou, "Timmy"
Timmy is 17-months old as of this posting [08/31/2009]
|
|
"Timmy" is a striking young Cameo Point boy [neutered].
Tiumou (Timmy) is affectionate and playful. He's also one of the most strikingly beautiful cats we
have ever had. Timmy is one of the more spoiled adults (and that's syaing alot! Because they are all spoiled!).
We were so impressed with both Timmy and Cimarron (both Cameo Points when they were little that we weren't
sure which one we would keep for a stud. Because they were sooo sooo pretty, we couldn't keep our hands off of them...
the end result is tat they are both spoiled rotten.
Timmy is snow white with just a hint of red on his nose, forehead, ears and tail... and a total fluff ball
of love. He actually has thicker fur than the American Curl is supposed to have but if you want a soft, fluffy ball
of love... this is your guy.
Timmy would be great with kids or in a home with other pets. All he really cares about is being loved
and adored by his people. And that's not hard to do because he is so absolutely georgeous! "Tims" is one of those
cats that will have everyone who comes to your home raving about what a beautiful cat you have.
He's friendly and doesn't demand a lot of attention, but he won't turn it away EVER!
Because of his thicker fur his owners will have to plan on keeping him groomed.
