Introducing New Lines
Together
these two litters are our first introduction of the two new bloodlines we have spent the last two years incorporating into
our lines. Patches (100% ProcurlHarem bloodlines) was bred to Curl Essence Saved by Grace, a seal point. His dam is from Curlniques
(breed founders) original bloodlines.
Saved is
a smaller male, than we have had, with a dynamite profile! We’ve reduced our size and boning and improved our
profiles, with these Curlniques introductions, which is improving our overall conformation to the American Curl Breed Standard
requirements.
BTW, Saved
By Grace got his name because Grace literally SAVED HIS LIFE. He was an emergency C-section and the only
kitten born alive out of the litter. Grace came to our house in response to our call for help. She and her daughter set up
a shift rotation to be with Mom (Grace’s queen) and the kitten, after surgery, to bottle feed the kitten and assist
Mom as she came off the drugs,(and had some unusual reactions to them!) It didn’t look hopeful at first, but with
everyone taking turns so that he had care 24 hours a day, we were successful in getting him to the point he could nurse on
his own and Mom was back to normal and taking care of him. It took a year to get this one cat from this particular bloodline.
But it was important to both of us to preserve this line since his dam is closer in her pedigree to Shulamith, the first American
Curl, than most living Curls today.

NEW Lit Pics...
out of Ruthie & Tubbs
Curl Essence Horn of Salvation, "Sally"
Blue Mac Tabby Female
|

These two pictures taken at 7 weeks old.

|
Blue Girl out of Ruthie born 8/1/2009. Sally might actually be a Blue Tabby & White bi-color as
she has one foot that is solid white... (the jury is still out on this one.)

The picture above of Sally was taken 10/18/2009 which she was playing with her "Track-Ball" toy.
Sally is such an interesting little girl. If we didn't know better, we would say she is part grasshopper.
When she gets excited, she hops straight in the air like she has springs under her toes. Sally is one of those cats
that you could easily describe as very "animated". From the very first day we let her out of the nursery to meet the
big cats, she immediately headed out to investigate without the slightest hesitation. Sally will do well with other
pets, kids or a home that will make her their only child. She's got it all.

Viewing at 10 weeks old
-
Pick up in person at the house at 12-14 weeks old
-
Shipped at 14-16 weeks old
-
All shipping and vet costs are actual cost. If we have to ship, plan on $55
for the carrier. (I use a medium size carrier ($45) so I can include a plush pad ($11). The pad takes 1/2
the carrier so there is a portion available outside the pad for shredded paper (in lieu of litter... airlines don't
let me include litterboxes anymore). This is for the kitten's comfort and so kitten doesn't arrive dirty. Having to
give your new baby a bath on his/her first night home is not a great way to start your relationship.
-
Cost for health certs is $116.
-
$25 for rabies if required for shipping (Calif requires if shipping over 4 mo
of age. We will ship at 15 wks to avoid if possible).
-
For pet quality, we neuter for you for $56... again, neutering right after arrival is
not the best way to tell your new baby how much you love him. This charge includes a mild antibiotic after the surgery
to make sure baby doesn't have any problems. They can ship 3 days after neutering... 7 days after spay as
long as they don't have any complications from the surgeries. Spaying is more... but between $155-$200.... sometimes,
I can get a better price from the vet with plenty of notice, I can arrange for spaying at $115.
